Homecoming Weekend

Join us 9/18-9/20/25 to celebrate 50 YEARS of Scioto Valley Rugby.

We will kick off the 50th Homecoming weekend with a Thursday social at the club's pub of choice: Byrne's Pub. Friday will feature a Golf Outing and social at Raymond Memorial Golf Course. Saturday will conclude the weekend's festivities with a pre-match tailgate at Fortress Obetz followed by a 50th banquet and Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday night.

Here's the complete schedule of events:

 

Thursday, September 18th - Social @ Byrne's Pub (7pm arrival).

(1248 W 3rd Ave, Columbus, OH 43212)

Turn the pub green & orange with your favorite Valley gear and get ready for a weekend packed full of fun. Current players will arrive post training to mingle with past Valley legends!

 

Friday, September 19th - Golf Outing - @ Raymond Memorial Golf Course ($125)

(3860 Trabue Rd, Columbus, OH 43228)

For this 4-person scramble, tee times start at 10:30am, and will be assigned prior to the event. All golfers will receive a sleeve of Scioto Valley branded balls and a Scioto Valley golf towel. Social with follow at the course's bar The 16th Tee at Raymond Memorial. Non-participants can link up with us here around 3pm as the first golfers start to finish.

 

Saturday, September 20th Events:

10am- Tailgate at Rhodes Park (1910 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223) ($25)

We'll have catered food and drinks to get you ready for some Scioto Valley Rugby action!

 

1pm - Kickoff Scioto Valley RFC vs Detroit RFC at Rhodes Park

(1910 W. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43223)

This is the club's final home match of the league season and will be against Detroit RFC. Pack the stands and cheer on the men of the Valley!

 

6PM - 50th Banquet at The Gallery at Champions Golf Course ($125)

(3900 Westerville Rd, Columbus, OH 43224)

Cocktail hour from 6-7pm, followed by dinner at 7pm. Following dinner we will have a Hall of Fame ceremony and speakers to commemorate 50 years of Scioto Valley Rugby. 

Attire: Business casual
